Leticia is the Public Marketing Coordinator for the Potter Randall County Emergency Communications District in Amarillo, Texas. Leticia began her career with Potter Randall 9-1-1 ECD 15 years ago. She educates both counties at schools, community events and online.
She is the 2024 Texas Public Safety Conference Chair and serves in several other capacities as well. Leticia holds memberships in both NENA and APCO. In 2019 Leticia served as the Awards Committee Chair for the APCO Texas Chapter. Leticia also sits on the Board of Directors for the National Public Educators Forum. As a member of the 9-1-1 Public Educators of Texas, she the current President.
Leticia was Texas NENA Public Education Professional of the Year for 2015 and was awarded the Public Educator of the Quarter October in 2014. She also serves as the Telecommunicator Recognition Committee Chair.
In her “spare” time Tish enjoys the beautiful chaos of raising 3 young boys and spending quality time with her husband James and adult daughter Aryah.
