Ray is the Quality Assurance and Training Manager for the Brazos County 9-1-1 District in Bryan, Texas, where he started his career as a telecommunicator and supervisor and returned in 2021 after managing 9-1-1 centers in Baytown, Denton, and Dayton. Ray has been active in the 9-1-1 industry throughout his career, having served many years on various committees for the Texas Public Safety Conference, including Conference Co-Chair, the NENA PSAP Operations Committee, and is certified as a Team Leader for Texas TERT. He is honored to serve the NENA membership, providing a well-rounded perspective that relates to the needs of the 9-1-1 professionals he serves. He looks forward to communicating with the membership and continuing the great tradition of innovative development, outreach, and education that the Texas 9-1-1 community is known for.
